IP Investments Holding is owned and managed by Mark Bloomfield, a successful entrepreneur, inventor, and a patent holder of ten US and international patents. In the early 80's, Mr. Bloomfield founded a company which was the first in the industry to develop a transportable cellular phone. The first protoytpe was introduced at the CES show in Las Vegas in 1982. In the mid 90's, Mr. Bloomfield founded another company which invented and patented technology and methods (U.S. Patents 6,707, 580 and 6,857,007 6,693,729) for delivering fax documents to email addresses. Today, fax-to-email technology as it is known, is the dominating means for delivering fax docments.
From 1996 through 2006, Mr. Bloomfield managed a patent portfolio of his patents and inventions through a patent licensing program. The licensing program was considered innovative and pioneering for its time. Leading industry companies such as AT&T, Avaya, Sprint, MCI, 3Com, Ericcson, Siemens, Cisco, Cingular, Efax, Symantec, as well as many other companies, have taken to licenses to this technology.
IP Investments Holding LLC is the newest enterprise for Mr. Bloomfield. The company has developed a business method for conducting online interactive business over the internet. This method is uniquely different from the traditional methods offered by Ebay and others serving the ecommerce marketplace.
The software invention was recently granted a US business method patent 7,664,682 and promises to change the way products and services are negotiated and sold over the internet. The company is currently focused on the real estate marketplace as the initial deployment for its technology and service known as
